Information Creation as a Process

Information Creation as a Process

Information Creation as a Process

Information in any format is produced to convey a message and is shared via a selected delivery method. The iterative processes of researching, creating, revising, and disseminating information vary, and the resulting product reflects these differences.

Identify the type/format of information and ask these questions about it:

  1. How it is created?
  2. Who is able to create it?
  3. Is there a review process? Should there be?
  4. What is the best use of the information from this format?
  5. How can I locate information in this format?
