This guide covers citation formats, online citation generators, citation software, and recommended websites dealing with citation.

The Argumentative Essay

The argumentative paper is a common assignment in English classes. At St.Louis Community College there are three databases which are particularly helpful to students doing research for this paper. They are: CQ Researcher, Issues & Controversies, and Opposing Viewpoints in Context. To get to them, go to the library homepage and click on Articles (Databases). Then click on Choose Databases by Subject, and then on Controversial Topics. These databases can also be helpful when trying to choose and narrow your topic.
