This course guide provides resources to successfully complete Essay 2.

This course guide has been created to help students successfully complete Professor Crank's Essay 2 Assignment:

Illustration Travel Writing Using Research

This essay assignment is in the Illustration mode while incorporating research methodology. Choose a travel destination location that has some sort of ecological, cultural, historical, or philanthropic significance. Dig deeply into travel essay research to investigate those potential locales and places that pique your interest and resonate with you, while familiarizing yourself with simple research and documentation strategies that both the reading and psychology courses require.

The Mode:

Illustration writing utilizes examples to develop one’s own ideas and to explain or convince the audience. Discover through researching travel writing three countries, or three places within a single country, that have cultural, historical, scientific, and/or philanthropic significance. Write a 3-4 page essay that provides specific examples of why each country/location you have chosen is significant. Include MLA documented research about your chosen countries’ attributes and destinations. And don’t forget about strong introductory and concluding paragraphs that tie your examples together and speak to why your chosen locations resonate with, interest, and/or impact you!
