Use Search It!

Search It! is a search tool (discovery service) that searches many sources simultaneously. You will find books, ebooks, videos, articles, and links to databases or library guides. Get the most out of Search It! by using the limits listed under Refine Results in the left side menu.

Search examples

Learning how to refine/filter your search results is key to getting the most out of Search It! Use the "Refine Results" menu on the left side of any search results page. Try many searches. 

Search examples: America* and 1960s     or  "Great Depression" and 1930s and impact     or    fashion and "the sixties"

crack epidemic and 1980s           DE "NINETEEN sixties" and clothing​        DE "NINETEEN eighties" and clothing        

Search It! Search Results Example -  The image below shows some options for refining results in Search It! Source Types is one of the most useful filtering options. Look for other options like Publication Date, Location, and Subject.
