Transitioning to Online Instruction

This guide is intended to help faculty re-develop classes on an online platform in case of College closure due to COVID-19

Resources for Students

Resources on this page can be provided to your students to help them as they work to transition to online learning and changing home environments.

Most of the free textbook offers from the spring are not being renewed for the summer term. Older editions are more likely to be available - tell your students whether these will be acceptable to use.

Academic Support

The Academic Success and Tutoring has moved their tutoring online, and they are available to help students who are struggling.

The Student Assistance Program helps connect students with resources for (primarily) non-academic issues that may affect their success, like finding childcare, affordable housing, or funding for textbooks.

Connecting

This is a list of resources to help your students make the connections necessary to continue classes, from troubleshooting access to STLCC resources to basic internet connections.
