BrowZine User Guide

BrowZine is a tool that makes it easy to browse, read, and monitor scholarly journals in your area of study.

• Browse or search for journals.
• Scan tables of contents and read, save, and share full articles.
• Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals and organize articles into collections.
• Receive notifications when new articles are published.
• Link easily to interlibrary loan services to request articles not available in full text.
• Export to Zotero, Mendeley, Dropbox, and other services.

Use BrowZine on your computer or iOS, Android, or Kindle device. BrowZine is available to all STLCC students, faculty, and staff.

If prompted, choose St. Louis Community College from the list of libraries and log in using your STLCC credentials.

To fully use BrowZine's features, create a personal account

1. Select the gear icon to access BrowZine User Settings.
2. Choose login to BrowZine and then Sign up. 
3. Create your account using an email account and password. This is separate from your STLCC credentials. 

To get started reading journals:

• Use the search box to find journals by title, subject, or issn.
• Browse through the list of subjects to see journals by discipline.
• Click on the journal title to see the latest issue and a list of available issues.
• Choose an article to read from the table of contents.

Download a BrowZine App

To access BrowZine from your smartphone or tablet, download the free BrowZine app from the appropriate app store.

Set Up Your BrowZine App

The first time you open your BrowZine app, you will be asked to choose your library. Select St. Louis Community College from the drop-down list. You will need to log in using your STLCC credentials. Now Sign Up to create a BrowZine account, or log in if you have previously created a BrowZine account on a computer or another app. The account will allow BrowZine to sync across all your devices, so that you will always have your My Articles and My Bookshelf settings.
