BrowZine delivers thousands of academic e-journals available through STLCC Libraries to your mobile device, tablet or desktop

About BrowZine

BrowZine is a tool that makes it easy to browse, read, and monitor scholarly journals in your area of study. 

Access with your college credentials to: " "

  • Browse or search for journals.
  • Scan tables of contents and read and download full articles.
  • Export to Zotero, Mendeley, Dropbox, and other services. 

Create a personal account in BrowZine to do more:

  • Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals and organize articles into collections.
  • Receive notifications when new articles are published.
  • Link easily to interlibrary loan services to request articles not available in full text.

BrowZine is available to all STLCC students, faculty, and staff. Use BrowZine on your computer or download the BrowZine mobile app for your iOS, Android, or Kindle device.

Get Started in BrowZine

If prompted, choose St. Louis Community College from the list of libraries and log in using your STLCC credentials.. 

To get started reading journals:

  • Use the search box to find journals by title, subject, or issn.
  • Browse through the list of subjects to see journals by discipline.
  • Click on the journal title to see the latest issue and a list of available issues.

To fully use BrowZine's features, create a personal account

  • Select the gear icon to access BrowZine User Settings.
  • Choose login to BrowZine and then Sign up. 
  • Create your account using an email account and password. This is separate from your STLCC credentials; you can use any email account. BrowZine recommends a non-institutional email account be used. If you are affiliated with another library that has BrowZine, you can access all of your journals that are available in BrowZine from either library using your personalized settings. 

Personalized Features

My Articles

  • Save articles you find on the web, iOS, and Android versions of BrowZine into one or many collections. 
  • Sync across all the devices you are using via your BrowZine Account.
  • The iOS and Android versions of BrowZine have the additional feature of being able to save full text PDFs for offline reading.
  • Articles within the collections can be deleted, copied and moved to other collections. New collections can be created and deleted as well. 
  • Currently, you may save 500 articles. This may increase in the future.

My Bookshelf

Organize your favorite journals so that the current issue is just one click or tap away.

  • Choose the "Add to My Bookshelf" button when viewing a journal. 
  • Move journals between multiple "shelves" and "bookcases" as well as renaming the shelves and bookcases to whatever you'd like!
  • You can store 64 journals in My Bookshelf, 16 in each shelf.
  • My Bookshelf automatically syncs between your devices. 
  • New issues of your journals are indicated with a red bubble displaying the number of new articles available.
