Learning Express User Guide

This guide explains the basics of using Learning Express including how to register, what's available and frequently asked questions.

FAQs about Registering

Why do I have to register?

Learning Express is a personal interactive resource, meaning once you set up an account you can track your progress and scores on practice tests and receive personalized assessments. All this is saved in your own private My Center page, which is only available to you.

Can I register at home?

Yes. You must first access the Learning Express database using your STLCC library or Canvas login credentials. Once you are logged in, create a personal Learning Express account using an email address and a password. Previously, users were required to be on campus to create an account, but this is no longer the case.

Do I have to use my STLCC email address?

No, you can use any valid email address. The email address you use to register will then be your Learning Express user name.

Do I have to give my ID number and a course?

No. These are listed on the "create an account" page, but you can leave those boxes blank. STLCC does not match Learning Express accounts to courses.
