Davina Harrison, District Collections Librarian: Welcome!

STLCC Libraries welcomed Davina Harrison as our new Collections Librarian for the district libraries on March 14, 2022. Davina comes to STLCC from the Missouri Botanical Gardens, where she served as their primary cataloger. She has extensive experience in cataloging, and the development and maintenance of digital repositories are one of her most significant areas of interest in librarianship.

A Note from Davina

Hello. I am Davina Harrison. I am the new district Collections Librarian. My largest responsibility will be cataloging the books and other materials you find in our library collections. My cataloging experience includes 16 years at Webster University in St. Louis where I got to catalog everything from books to DVD copies of feature films. I am really excited to be part of the St. Louis Community College family and back on the Meramec Campus where I started out my college career as a student.

While my work keeps me back in the office areas, I serve the college community by maintaining the integrity and accuracy of information in the online catalog. If you have any concerns or questions about the data in our online catalog feel free to email me.

I am a native St. Louisan. Some of my favorite places are the art museum, history museum, and botanical garden. When I am not working, you will find me doing yoga, knitting, or walking in my neighborhood.
