While anyone can use the STLCC library databases on campus, only current students, faculty, and staff may use the databases off-campus.

Ebooks available through this collection may be read online. Some allow for download, for reading offline.
1. Find the detailed record of a book you would like to read.
2. Click the PDF Full Text or EPUB Full Text Icon.
3. Use the Table of Contents on the left of the page to navigate to different sections of the book. Use the back and forward arrows at the bottom to move from page to page. Use the fit to screen or fit to width buttons at the bottom to choose the most comfortable viewing option.
Note: Reading a book online requires an active connection to the internet.
Downloading a book allows you to read the book, even when you are not connected to the internet.
To download a book, you will need to create an account in EBSCOhost and you'll need to install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer or mobile device. If you have not completed these steps, you will be prompted to do so when you begin the download process.
1. Find the detailed record of a book you would like to read.
2. Click the Full Download icon.
3. If you have not already done so, you will be prompted to create an EBSCOhost account. Once that is completed, you should download and install Adobe Digital Editions to your device, if you do not already have it installed.
4. Once those steps are complete, you may choose a loan period and download the book. If it does not automatically open in Adobe Digital Editions, open your downloads folder and select the file for your book.
