In the STLCC Libraries Catalog, you can search by author or title for a book that you know, or you can discover books using the keyword and the subject searches. The subject search will only find subject headings as defined by the Library of Congress. To find a book about a particular person, search by subject using the last name, then the first name. For example:
Franklin, Aretha
Franklin, Benjamin
You can also search for subject categories that refer to groups of people:
African Americans -- Biography
Women artists (and subheadings)
