English as a Second Language (ESL) / English for Non-native Speakers

You may be able to find many useful videos about learning English (ESL ) for non-native speakers. For example, try searching with a keyword phrase such non-native speakers English or "ESL teachers" 

NOTE: YouTube perfectly exemplifies both a major strength and weakness of the Internet:  anyone can post videos.  This is a strength, because many videos with accurate, high quality information have been posted.  This is a weakness, because many videos with inaccurate or misleading information have been posted as well.  The existence of quality videos on YouTube makes it worth searching.  However, before citing a YouTube video in a paper or incorporating it into a presentation, it is highly advisable to check with your instructor concerning the acceptability of the video for the assignment.

Videos can be a rich source of information for research, adding visual, sound, and movement to illustrate concepts beyond what can be described in words. Feature films and documentaries on DVD are available in each campus library, and are listed in the library catalog along with the books. Streaming video can be accessed through the library databases. These range from short educational and historical film clips to full-length movies and documentaries.

To limit your results to just videos, start by entering your search terms below. Once your results appear, click All filters, then scroll through the menu to find Source type, and select Videos.
