Need to borrow or renew a laptop for the semester?
Laptop availability is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will not be taken.
Borrowing
- Fall 2025 new laptop checkouts began on August 18, 2025.
- Go in-person to STLCC Libraries at our Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec, or Wildwood location during operating hours no later than 30 minutes prior to closing. It's best to call ahead to check if there are available laptops at your location. A laptop will not be held for you.
- You will need a valid college, state, or other government photo ID. Our staff will check to make sure you are currently enrolled.
Using the laptop
- Log in to the laptop for the first time with your student credentials before leaving campus.
- You are responsible for any lost or damaged laptops or equipment, including power cords and screens. Charges can range from $60 for a power cord to $1200 minimum for a laptop.
Laptop Renewals
- NO RENEWALS are allowed between Summer and Fall semesters. The time window to renew between other semesters will be announced. You must be enrolled in an upcoming semester to renew a laptop.
Returning the Laptop
- You will get a notice that your laptop is due at the end of the semester. You may keep the laptop until after your last final exam.
- Return the laptop to any STLCC campus library.
- If you are an online student and you need to return your laptop but are unable to come to a campus, contact IT to request a return label.
