Need to borrow or renew a laptop for the semester?
Laptop availability is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will not be taken.
Borrowing
- Spring 2025 new laptop checkouts will begin Jan. 13, 2025.
- Go in-person to STLCC Libraries at our Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec, or Wildwood location during operating hours no later than 30 minutes prior to closing. It's best to call ahead to check if there are available laptops at your location. A laptop will not be held for you.
- Present a valid college, state, or other government photo ID to the staff attending the circulation service desks to check out a laptop.
- Log in to the laptop for the first time with your student credentials before leaving campus.
Laptop Renewals
- If you are registered for one or more credit hours during Spring 2025, you may be eligible to continue using your loaner device.
- Beginning Monday, Dec. 2, visit the STLCC libraries website and complete the renewal request form to request an extension of your loan for spring semester. Requests will be reviewed after Dec. 9. You will be contacted soon thereafter.
Returning the Laptop
- You will get a notice that your laptop is due at the end of the semester. You may keep the laptop until after your last final exam.
- Return the laptop to any STLCC campus library.
- If you are an online student and you need to return your laptop but are unable to come to a campus, contact IT to request a return label.
