Need to borrow or renew a laptop for the semester?
Laptop availability is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will not be taken.
Borrowing
- Summer laptop new checkouts will begin May 13, 2024.
- Go in-person to STLCC Libraries at our Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec, or Wildwood location during operating hours no later than 30 minutes prior to closing. It's best to call ahead to check if there are available laptops at your location. A laptop will not be held for you.
- Present a valid college, state, or other government photo ID to the staff attending the circulation service desks to check out a laptop.
- Log in to the laptop for the first time with your student credentials before leaving campus.
Laptop Renewals
- If you have a laptop from one semester and wish to keep it for the following semester, you may be able to renew it. Please use the Renew Laptop button on the Libraries home page. Renewal requests for Summer 2024 will be reviewed beginning May 6, 2024. Watch your STLCC email for confirmation.
Returning the Laptop
- You will get a notice that your laptop is due at the end of the semester. You may keep the laptop until after your last final exam.
- Return the laptop to any STLCC campus library.
- If you are an online student and you need to return your laptop but are unable to come to a campus, contact IT to request a return label.
