Delivering High-Quality Instruction Online in Response to COVID-19 is a faculty-focused playbook intended to improve course design, teaching, and learning in online environments. With special attention to the needs of instructors teaching online for the first time, the guide offers strategies for getting started and improving over time. Developed by the Online Learning Consortium, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, and Every Learner Everywhere, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the playbook provides a path for continuous improvement of instruction along a quality-oriented continuum.

Offered by University of Central Florida's (UCF) Center for Distributed Learning (CDL), TOPR is a public resource for faculty and instructional designers interested in online and blended teaching strategies. Practices are organized into three categories: Course Content, Interaction, and Assessment. Each entry describes a strategy drawn from the pedagogical practice of online/blended teaching faculty, depicts this strategy with artifacts from actual courses, and is aligned with findings from research or professional practice literature.

The following resources from the Transparency in Learning and Teaching project (TILT Higher Ed) can help faculty, educational developers and administrators to apply the Transparency Framework (of purpose/task/criteria) in contexts including assignments, curricula, assessment and strategic initiatives, all toward the goal of enhancing student success equitably.

Microsoft Teams is an Office 365 workspace where teams of people can collaborate, hold meetings and share files. The Teams product supports private and group conversations, including chats and calls. A team can be formed based on a class, a specific project, a department, a club or any type of group activity. You can connect on Teams anywhere with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices, or bring remote participants into meeting spaces of all sizes with Teams.

This resource highlights the ways in which the use of web conferencing, live streaming and webinar platforms to broadcast content can enhance the learning experience when designed using the UDL framework. The Example provides an idea for incorporating web conferencing in an educational setting.
