Instruction Librarian (IL) Guide

Providing policies, procedures, and other useful information for STLCC's Instruction Librarians

How to use this page

When you have information that should be shared with and available to all instruction librarians, please add a new box right below this one. That way, the newest information will be at the top of the page.

Also, send an email message to the group, letting everyone know new information is available.

Districtwide Reference Q/A

Color Printing Availability (1/23/19 MD)

Color printing availability at each campus library is as follows: (no cost involved)

Florissant Valley: Two computers available with color printer access, students should ask the front desk which computers to use to access color printing.

Forest Park: One dedicated computer for color printing access, students need to sign in at the circulation desk to use it.

Meramec: Color printer available on first floor (now only from 8 computers, PC & Mac marked with a color wheel-JH)

Wildwood: No color printing available

TEAS Test Study Guides and Practice Tests (4/3/19 MD)

Nursing students frequently ask how to access TEAS test preparation materials. Here is a summary of available resources:

All four campuses have the ATI TEAS study manual : for the Test of Essential Academic Skills on reserve for library use only.

The Learning Express database includes access to TEAS practice tests and an e-book published by Learning Express. This book is different from the "official" ATI study manual on reserve at campus libraries. At this time, an e-book version of the "official" ATI study manual is not published/available.
